Database Functions and Hyperlinks
Hi,
I've been wondering whether or not this is possible. I use database functions such as DCOUNTA() AND DSUM() to work with tables of data in excel. I know that these dtabase functions are related in part to Advanced Filters in Excel. Can you think of a way of creating a hyperlink for a DCOUNTA() function so that the hyperlink displayed the items that it was counting in the table given the criteria written into the formulas. I use a seperate sheet to hold the Criteria regions and a summary page to hold the formulas that read the database I named a range called DB as Current!A:O, so most of my functions look similar to this =DCOUNTA(DB,"Type",Criteria!A1:A2) I almost need to link the criteria somehow to the hyperink in code, scratching my head at present. any help appreciated somethinglikeant |
