i have a userform which at the moment i open up with a command button. i want
it to open as soon as i open the workbook. ih ave tried the following:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
Sheet1.Unprotect Password:="troytempest1"
UserForm1.Open
Sheet1.Protect Password:="troytempest1"
End Sub

i have tried it with and without the protect and unprotect. i have also
tried several other ways. i am missing something really simple,can anyone see
what i am doing wrong
thankyou John

It needs to be actually on the OPEN event of the workbook, and I think
that it should be userform1.show

Bob Phillips[_6_]

show userform

IT is Userform1.Show not open, and that code should be in the ThisWorkbook
code module.
