show userform
i have a userform which at the moment i open up with a command button. i want
it to open as soon as i open the workbook. ih ave tried the following: Private Sub Workbook_Open() Sheet1.Unprotect Password:="troytempest1" UserForm1.Open Sheet1.Protect Password:="troytempest1" End Sub i have tried it with and without the protect and unprotect. i have also tried several other ways. i am missing something really simple, can anyone see what i am doing wrong thankyou John |
show userform
It needs to be actually on the OPEN event of the workbook, and I think
that it should be userform1.show |
show userform
IT is Userform1.Show not open, and that code should be in the ThisWorkbook
code module. -- HTH Bob Phillips (remove nothere from the email address if mailing direct) "john tempest" wrote in message ... i have a userform which at the moment i open up with a command button. i want it to open as soon as i open the workbook. ih ave tried the following: Private Sub Workbook_Open() Sheet1.Unprotect Password:="troytempest1" UserForm1.Open Sheet1.Protect Password:="troytempest1" End Sub i have tried it with and without the protect and unprotect. i have also tried several other ways. i am missing something really simple, can anyone see what i am doing wrong thankyou John |
