spontaneous update of Excel spreadsheet - HELP
 

I have 7 workbooks with 11 sheets each which have to be burst into 11
departmental workbooks of 7 sheets each and then saved as a PDF. The
workbooks are part of a complex set of workbooks with many internal and
external links. A macro reads the 7 books and copies each sheet into the
appropirate dept workbook. I open each workbook with update links turned off.
BUT!!!!! The links on some of the sheets update in some manner spontaneously
.... I don't recalculate, change formulas or anything ... just copy sheets.

Any ideas? I desparately need help.
