References to other workbooks

Hi!

Does anybody know how can I find out all cell references to other workbooks?
Every time I am opening the workbook, I am asked, if I want to update the
links to other workbooks.
Actualy, I don't want any refernces to other workbooks, so I would like to
delete all these links!

Thanks!

I use the standard 'Edit, Find' function in Excel:

Under options Find What {name of the workbook}
Search within: Workbook
Look In: Formulas

You can also take the Edit, Links option and then press the Break Links
button. This permanently substitutes a value for any formulae with links to
external workbooks, so you need to be sure that you no longer need the links
before you use this.

When I can't find links, I'll use Bill Manville's FindLink program:

alternatively, under the "Find What" if you enter ".xls" (without the
quotes), this will find links to any other workbooks without you having to
enter the workbook name.

Hope this helps
