I have buttons (actually squares) on a worksheet and cannot seem to move its location. The sheet is unprotected now and I undid freeze and split but I still can't move it.

Also, if I later want to delete the button, how do I do that?

it sounds like you have created the buttons from the control toolbox, in
your control toolbox click the design mode icon then you will be able to
work with your buttons
