What's the future status of xlDialogFindFile?
 

I've heard that MS plans to do away with
Application.Dialogs(xlDialogFindFile). Is this true? If so, how do we write
a procedure that will do the same thing?

I can't shed any light on MS' intentions, but take a look at the
GetOpenFilename method in VBA help.
