Excel-hyperlinking between workbooks- close visited file when ret
I have a collection of excel folders with a Master sheet contaning links to
other sub folders and files. I have links in each child file to return to Master, but the .xls file remains open upon return to Master. Therefore, if visit a dozen files there is a dozen visited files that remain open/active on desk top -- how can I tag the "return" button to close the satellite file once viewed and user selects "return to master" to Master via imbedded hyberlink each page to return Master |

a hyperlink? Why not just close the satellite file once you are done viewing it? -- Gary''s Student "Closing hyperlinked wookbooks upon exit" wrote: I have a collection of excel folders with a Master sheet contaning links to other sub folders and files.
