Sorting and page setup in a filtered list
Hello,
I have a filtered list that I print out each week and I want to automate the sorting and page setup I have to do each time. The filtering is simple: there is one field that filters out all non-blanks. I then sort the remaining entries in the list. I can code the sorting, but I am having trouble identifying the first and last item in the sort area through VB. I need to identify the range to sort by picking out the first unfiltered item and the last entered item which of course is different each time. I then want to setup the print area to print all pages with unfiltered items which is usually 1 page but can be two. But I want the print area to include all blank rows that will fit on the page. (e.g. if a full page is 25 rows I want to print out 25 rows no regardless of how many rows are filled.) Of course since the list is filtered, the print are has to reset each time. Can someone help me? thanks |
