compiling doubles file size
I've been updating in 2003 an old 97-format template with a lot of VBA code.
If I compile it, the size doubles from around 500kb to 1mb. Why is it doing this? I've - unsurprisingly - decided not to compile it before saving but isn't this verging on the blasphemous? |

Try copying all the sheets to a new workbook. then export your modules and
userforms and import them into the new workbook. See if that helps. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Martin" wrote: I've been updating in 2003 an old 97-format template with a lot of VBA code.
