split text into more columns excel
 

dear all, could be posible to split column with text, information into
more columns, example
i need to make a macro, because i have more than 1000 files.
17 COTAXTLA 7929 4090 125 62 200 105 4.6
2.3 10.1 3.5 2.8 1.5 3.0
5 COTAXTLA 7822 4076 124 62 187 99 4.7
1.8 9.9 4.0 3.3 2.5 3.0
4 COTAXTLA 7921 4004 122 62 205 114 7.4
2.8 10.5 3.5 2.5 2.3 3.0

when i import from excel appear in column A, then i need information
in
columns a1 17
colum b1 cotaxtla 7929
colum c1 4090
colum d1 125 etc.

y next row
a2 5
b2 cotaxtla 7822

etc. etc.
can anyone help me.

select column A and do Data=Text to Columns. Go through the wizard.
