Check in to Livelink via excel macro
Hi all,
I have a userform that is used for input to the sheet behind, when the user clicks on the "Save & Exit" button the form and workbook close and save. Now if I where to put this on Livelink and check it out via excel, when I click the "Save & Exit" button it will not automatically check the item back in to Livelink. I wondered if there was some code that would perform the check-in? I have tried recording a macro and checking in and out to see if the code which performs the task might be recorded in the macro but nothing was recorded, Can anyone help? Many thanks in advance Duncan |
Check in to Livelink via excel macro
Hi again,
For the time being I have used the sendkeys function to commit the keyboard to necessary actions to check the item back in, I still wonder though if there were a more reliable command to perform this task. Anybody out there? Duncan |
Check in to Livelink via excel macro
I hear over the grapevine that Microsoft is working together with SAP
and OpenText so hopefully in the near future there will be better functionality between ECM and Macro automation. But for the mean time I would still love to know if there is a workaround? Duncan |
