Default Error message on some computers

Hello can anyone please help me

I have written an excel spreadsheet so others can complete provisiona
requirements and send them to me, where i compile them into a maste
register.
It is written in excel 2002, and is totally self contained, i.e i
makes no external references, it is simply a userform and datasheets.
It works okay on my machine and some others, but there are machine
that it brings up error "compile error in hidden module" (particulary
date field) and will not complete the task
All the machines are networked, built around same image
The only difference is that the machines where it won't work do no
have Access 2002 installed. is this it??

Can anyone please help as this is beyond my capabilities
and I need to get it working
thank

Since you say the error has to do with a date field, I assume you know the
line of code that is giving the error - could you post it?

HI,

Is your project protected ? So if you unlock the project first then run
your sub , where does it hang.
It could be a Regional settings problem (dot iso comma ?)
I have tested an xl sub using ADO to query an Access DB on a machine without
Access at home (office 2003 student version)
without any problem.
Regards
JY
