Replace all Pivot table data fields using VBA
I am trying to remove all the data fields in a pivot table and then
immediately replace them with some new data fields. Dead easy through the wizard or on screen, how do you do it through VBA? I am trying to build a basic MI interface and I need to be able to keep all existing options (Page fields, row and column fields) but replace which type of data is shown. This will allow a user to flick between the %age profit on a transaction and the absolute £ value of profit on the transaction. I have not been able to find any function which does this, the closest seems to be the AddFields method which lets you replace all fields EXCEPT the datafields. Hopefully the above makes it sound like I know what I'm doing in VBA, unfortunately not. I stumble about in the help trying to find the right function to do what I need to so please be gentle with me if I don't get it first time. Thanks Stuart |
