Default show customer based on Weekday

I have a master list of customers/potentials that I sort by date of next
visit and I would like to be able to break them down further, for use
with streets and trips.

So, here's what I would like to do.

Take all entries that are within 6 days of the current date and reflect
them on their corresponding worksheet (Worksheets being Master, Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday...etc).

So, I would like to still be able to see them on my master sheet, but if
the date of next visit falls with 6 days from now, they are reflected on
the worksheet day they belong to (Monday-Friday)

That came out a little jumbled, but I think I got my point accross.

Hi
What does reflected mean? Are they already on the sheet and you want
them filtered or highlighted in some way? Are they not on the sheet and
you want them inserted into it - if so, where?
If people don't know exactly what you want, they are slow to reply as
they don't know what kind of open ended commitment to your problem they
are making.

well now you're in for it.


OK, I have a master list of 200 entries (Name, address, phone, contact,
next visit) which I can sort by any column. Typically, I sort by date of
next visit, so that the top 20 entries are the accounts I have to visit
that day and tomorrows accounts are beneth them and so on.

Now, when I try to use Streets and Trips, I have to import an entire
worksheet from excel (minimum), so I end up with all my accounts being
imported.

My attempt at a solution...

I've added 5 blank worksheets into my excel spreadsheet. So, I have
Master, Monday, Tuesday, ..., Friday.

I'm trying to find a way to have all the entries that are within six days
(or I end up with a Monday appointments 3 weeks down the road) to
automatically appear and disappear from the M-F worksheet that they
belong to (based on date of next visit).

So, if I have Monday April 10, 2006 as the next visit to an account, it
will show-up on the Monday worksheet, as of Tuesday April the 4th, and
will disappear when I change its date to Monday April 24, 2006 (the date
of next visit).

Basically, as I go through my day and change all the dates of next visit,
I'll end up with a blank Monday worksheet, which will then fill up with
next Mondays appointments on Tuesday morning.

Maybe this is a job better suited for access?

I think that's a little clearer. Thanks for any help or inseght you can
provide.

Hi Jill
Can you send me an email at and I'll send
you a spreadsheet to have a look at. You get told off if you send
spreadsheets to here.
