Restore Borders Automatically

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is possible  ....I've created a bookin
system and it has a grid which is highlighted with borders. User ca
enter bookings and have been encouraged to merge cells together t
hightlight bookings which strech over a number of cells. If th
booking is later moved or removed it takes the formatting of th
borders away with it. Is there anyway that the borders can remain i
tact? Can they be locked for with some VBA code for example?

After some user feedback this was one of the major issues bought up fo
inexperienced users who didn't know how to restore the border
manually.

Any help on this topic would be VERY much appeciated!

Thanks,

Dave :
