Default Cant open a workbook!

Hi everyone,

I have a small problem with a workbook that I regularly send out to some of
the people at my work. The workbook is not that complicated. Just a Pivot
table and a Pivot graph with a few formating macros.

Some times they cant seem to open the workbook. When they open it excel
appeares blank and with no workbook open. I´ve found a way around this. When
you start a new workbook in the same window and select "window - compare side
bys side" the hidden workbook appeares.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

Hannes,
Is it listed under the Windows menu when it is not visible?
If it is, may be it is open but it's positioned outside of the Excel window,
but returns once you arrange the windows.

Yes it is listed undir the windows menu, but I cant scroll or do anything to
find it. If I use the arrange function nothing happens. I can only find it by
comparing it side by side with another workbook.

Try Window / Arrange / Tiled and then maximise the sheet (but without
opening another sheet first). then save your file when you have done that.
