Engineering shear/moment

Hello,

I am an engineer trying to write a program that will calculate shear and
bending moments. I have not been able to find anything that will assist me
in calculating moments. I have the program to a point where it calculates
the shear values but I'm not sure how to take those values and calculate
moments. I know how to do them by hand, I am just trying to have the program
do it all like other engineering software does. Any help would be
appreciated. If any further information is needed, please feel free to ask.

We need more information, particularly the formula to calculate the moments
and all inputs. A simple example would also be very helpfull as well as how
you would want to display this on the worksheet.

You are about to go off the first page and so may not get an answer. You may
have to repost.

Regards,
Greg
