In the past I have been able to take certain .doc files and save them as ..txt file and then convert them into .xls files (proividing there are commas in the right place etc.). I have a .doc file and someone has inserted a table. Is there anyway I can convert that table into a .xls file where then contents in the top left corner of the .doc table will end up in a .xls file in cell A1 etc.? -- Thanks Shawn |

Because I didn't think that would work. I remember trying to do this in the
past and it would copy an image of the table in excel. I just did what you suggested and it worked. -- Thanks Shawn "Tom Ogilvy" wrote: why not just copy and paste it into Excel. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Shawn" wrote: In the past I have been able to take certain .doc files and save them as .txt file and then convert them into .xls files (proividing there are commas in the right place etc.).
