Excel automatically starts another sheet when calculating formula
 

When doing calculations in Excel, using Visual Basic, the excel file being
reference will automatically open. It should just update cells with the file
closed. Is there a setting for this? I have tried to uninstall office and
reinstall but it still does it.

Your post is a little unclear. Are you trying to update cells in a closed
