Data validation function and drop-down lists
I am sending this to several newsgroups, because I am not sure which one
is the most appropriate. I am using the "Data Validation" function of Excel to create drop-down lists. Is there any way to control the font size of the items in the drop-down list without changing the zoom (view) function of the whole spreadsheet? Thank you. Colleen |

Data validation function and drop-down lists
Hi Colleen
As Tom rightly says, there isn't. However there are a few "tricks" to achieve this if you take a look at Debra Dalgleish's site http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal08.html#Larger http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal08.html#Wider or by adding a Combo Box to the sheet http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal10.html -- Regards Roger Govier "Colleen" wrote in message ink.net...
