Data validation cell default
 

I have a cell that contains data validation. It contains three
selections. If I have three sections there is nothing written in the
cell to tell the person filling out the form to select from the list.
Is there a way that I can get put in that cell something that says
"Select from list" in which then the user will go to that cell and can
select from the three choices?

select the cell and select data =Validation

Click on the "Input Message" tab and type in your message and select the
checkbox at the top to show the message when the cell is selected.
