Validation

I have set-up Validation for use in four locations in my "form" spreadsheet;
sheet 1 is the form; sheet 2 & 3 contain the ranges for the drop down lists;
all works ok, except----
1) all four ranges produce a drop down list in which the fonts are very
small and almost unreadable; changing the font in the range does not help
2) the drop down for the range that contains 50 rows ( only 10 actual
entries so far-these are client names and this list will increase) starts at
random rows in the list-in the middle, at the bottom, but never at the top of
the list; the other three ranges, each containing only two, three or four
entries, always start at the top of the list.

help, help??

I assume that your form is a sheet and not a userform. If that is the case
then what is the zoom on your sheet. That is what dictates the size of the
font in your drop down list. Incrase the zoom of the sheet and play with the
fon sizes of the rest of the sheet to make things fit. Note that doing that
also changes teh way it prints so it is not always feasable. This is the big
drawback to drop down validation lists.
