ExcelBanter - I need instructions

I have a spreadsheet that contains simple macros that I need to share with
others. The spreadsheet contains thousands of records. The premis is this:

My company dumps these records into a spreadsheet. I send the spreadsheet
to a contact at one of our client sites. She posts the spreadsheet on their
shared drive. 40 different site locations need to view the spreadsheet and
mark the records that need to be deleted. At the end of the week, my contact
emails the workbook back to me.

Since there are thousands of records in a single worksheet, I wanted to make
it easier for the site locations to find their records. I created custom
toolbar and placed an icon on the toolbar for each location. So, when
"Pittsburgh" opens the workbook, they only have to find the "Pittsburgh" icon
and click it to filter the list for only the "Pittsburgh" records.

The problem I am having is this. When rename the workbook, the Macros no
longer function. Either the macros are looking for the old workbook or I get
a different error.

Furthermore, when I email the workbook the macros do not work for the person
I emailed it to, even if all macros work on my end. From what I gather, I
need to attach the macros as an add-in??? I have no idea what this means,
and I need step-by-step instructions on how to do this and instructions for
what my clients will need to do with that add-in.
