Compare values in different columns
Is there a way to compare numbers in different columns and return a different
value based on the findings. Given Data: A1 B1 C1 100 50 250 Desired Results: A2 B2 C2 2 1 3 Basically I want to assign the lowest number of the Given Data the value of "1" the next higest number of the given data the value of "2"... Thank you, Alan |
Compare values in different columns
Use the rank formula something like this...
=RANK(A1, $A$1:$C$1) It returns the rank of A1 in the range A1:C1... -- HTH...
