Testing a group of option buttons for a selection.
Hello again! The following code was provided to me by Tom Ogilvy about a week ago to test a drop down list combo box to see if a selection, any selection had been made. I would like to know how to code for a similar behavior concerning a grouping of option buttons (six to be precise). Thanks in advance, Amber Code: -------------------- 'Tests to see if a Project Manager has been chosen from the drop down list If cmbPMList.ListIndex < -1 Then 'a selection has been made, so do nothing Else MsgBox "You must select a project manager before continuing." & Chr(13) & _ "Please try again." Exit Sub End If -------------------- -- Amber_D_Laws ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Amber_D_Laws's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=30012 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=512903 |
Testing a group of option buttons for a selection.
Nevermind..... I was just entering the inital code for these option buttons, when it dawned on me that the "If there is no selection" part of the code natural solves my problem. Well, I hope that my little deviation for thinking clearly helps someone in the future.
