Enable add-in automatically
Hi, I have a workbook that uses the NETWORKDAYS function, which is pat of the Analysis Toolpack add-in. The problem is, when the workbook is opened on another PC, then the NETWORKDAYS appear as #NAME. It is very annoying to have to explain every user to turn on the add-in. Is there a way to automatically (preferably without the use of VBA or macro's) have the add-in enabled when the document is opened? If there is absolutely no way, then what is the easiest way to use VBA or a automatic start-up macro to enable the add-in? -- danswa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ danswa's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31267 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=511708 |
Enable add-in automatically
It should automatically load the ATP. To force it to, put the
following code in the ThisWorkbook module: Private Sub Workbook_Open() Application.AddIns("Analysis ToolPak").Installed = True End Sub This assumes that the ATP actually resides on the PC. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com "danswa" wrote in message ...
