Fill in contents based on another column
Hi, I am new to excel. I have the following data: Zip Chapter 94789 50000 I need the chapter filled in based on the zip. i.e if zip < 10000, fill in NY chapter, if between 90000 & 95000, fill in SF-bay etc. Is there a way to define this without using vlookup i.e having the data in same/another worksheet? Maybe a macro/code ? Sure, but the macro would have to have access to the table that maps the zip
to the chapter. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "asra" wrote in message ... Hi, I am new to excel.
