help needed wth cell val ck, increment. insert
 

Hello~
I am new to macro's in Excel and need some assistance.
I have a value in cell A1 (IM600755) .
I need to use that val (incremented by 1 - IM600756 ) to check the next row
(same collumn) and verify that it is a match.
If the val in cell A2 is not blank, try and see if it is a match to the new
val, otherwise exit loop.
If the val does not mtch the val in cell A2, I need to insert a blank row.
Then move down 2 rows (skip the blank row we just inserted), grab the val in
that new cell to use as my new criteria and start the process
again.
If the val in the next row is a match, I want to increment the val by one
and just move to the next row and run the check again.
When I hit a blank row (end of data) I want to exit the loop.

Any idea's, direction, assistance greatly appreciated!
