Want a challenge:Finding entry on sheet then adding data???
I will try and this query as clear as possible, here goes...
I have created a form with multiple fields which when entered outputs to a register worksheet - straight forward. This entry can be amended by using another form and selecting a unique number reference from a pull down list. I've scipted a unique number generator. The data entry form appears and more/different data can added. What I looking for is a method to output one of the form fields to another worksheet called actions. This part I can do - here's the tricky bit...when the actions field on the main form is changed for a particular entry/number I want the actions sheet to reflect the changes against the correct listing. Procedu Create listings using form Entry goes to a register and actions field data also goes to actions sheet Every new actions string goes to the next available row in actions sheet if you chnage entry number 2. the relevant row is found in actions sheet is found then overwritten / updated. I don't think this a straight forward request - I'm part of the way there (the easy bit!!) thanks all chris |
