Default password popup unneeded

Hello
I think I have a problem with an xlt file.
I've written this xlt with some macros in it, and it works fine.
I need to protect the vba project code with a password, but if I do
that, then when I quit excel a dialog pops up asking for that password;
and it does pop up many times (about 7, I think), not just once.
So, say the user receives an xls file based on this xlt; he/she can use
it fine, but as soon as excel quits, many running requests for the
password pop up.
The xlt file has been created using excel 2002, but the user runs excel
2000. It looks like this problem only happens using excel 2000.
I really can't figure out what's the issue here, so if you have any clues...

Thanks
