lookup value=eg.Custnum, table array= multiple spreadsheets of Custnum???
this formula is it possible to work? pls guide me

Not a good description of your problem, which is probably the reason you did
not get an answer.

Take a look at VLOOKUP Worksheet Formula, and since other sheets are
involved you would need to use defined names.

That is if the information you need is on various sheets, not the customer
numbers on various sheets.
