Excel Add-in for SQL Server AS - Documentation re Calculated items

I am looking for documentation on how to create calculated items (ie.
calculating profit = revenue - costs where revenue and costs are in the
database. The whitepaper is fairly sketchy. Is there any other
documentation on this great tool?
