workbook security

Hello,

I am wanting to disseminate a workbook for sale. Does anyone have any
suggestions on how to secure it so that it cannot be used unless it has been
paid for. At the very least, could I have a disclaimer popup on the open
event that says it's illegal to copy or use this workbook without license?
Thanks for any suggestions

The best you can do in my opinion is to save the workbook in Excel with a
password (File, Save As, Tools, General Options, Password to Open). If you
pick a long, nonsense password (not a word) it would be very difficult to
hack. Of course once someone bought the password he could save the workbook
without the password and give it away.

Any kind of macro based 'protection' is much easier to get around by
comparison.
