Input for Macros

Hi,

I am trying to write a macro that will be used to update a file. I want to
have some sort of stored input like you can in C++.

something like
input "what year is it?"
input a

....or however the C code goes (its been a couple years).

Is there any way to do this for an excel macro?

Input for Macros

Hello Sean,

You can prompt user input in Excel using the VBA *InputBox function*
It displays a dialog with the prompt you want to display. The use
types in a response and and clicks one of two buttons, OK or Cancel
Entering nothing and clicking OK is the same as clicking Cancel. Al
responses are string data. If you want more functionality, you can us
the *InputBox method*. See the VBA help files for details on thei
use.

Sincerely,
Leith Ros
