VBA help not displaying all topics.
If anybody likes weird bugs, this one is a beauty!!!
I'm trying to connect to an Access database in Excel via VBA. When I click on help from the vba editor and lookup "database", "execute", "open" etc. in the Answer Widard tab, the topics I need are listed but when you click on them they won't display!!! Most other topics will display. - Inserted Office Cd and verified VBA help was installed in "Office Tools" - Uninstalled and reinstalled Office with vba help selected. - Searched Microsoft KB and MSDN KB. All advised to do previous steps. - Opened object browser and highlighted a method I need syntax for. (DAO. execute for example) and get a window "Microsoft Excel can't display help. An error occured and this feature is no longer functioning properlly. Would you like to repait this feature now?". I selected yes with the Office CD in the drive. The installer ran and prompted to restart computer to apply changes. Restarted, back into Excel, Same problem. Please Advise |
