Changes to Add-Ins are not saved...

Recently at work, I noticed that when I save an Add-In located on my local
drive or on the company server, it does so relatively quick. This was
exciting until I later determined that the changes where not saved - Doh!

Also, after exiting Excel, I am prompted to supply the passwords for a
number of password protected Add-Ins.

Oddly enough, I can edit and save these same Add-Ins on my home machine and
I am not prompted for passwords when I exit Excel.

Any ideas?

I've never had any trouble saving from the VBE (with my project active) by just
hitting the Save Icon.

But a few people have posted problems (I don't recall the specifics). They
suggested making the addin a normal workbook. Then using Excel's (not the
VBE's) File|SaveAs.

Do you use google desktop?

There was a flurry of posts that described your problem when that was originally
released.

Dave,

I don't have Act! or Google Desktop on my machine.

Repairing Office seemed to fix the problem.
