Converting column letters to numbers
 

For those seeking a way to convert Excel column letters to numbers, I
offer the below poperty because it may be the answer you're looking for
and does not involve reproducing functionality which may already
exists:

It's called the "Range" property (referred to as poperty although its
behavior brings the notion of object to mind).

It receives cell references as inputs vs. row/column index numbers and
thus you can access info regarding a cell or range of cells without
first converting column letters to numbers, such as:

Range("A1").Text
