Get Macro to work on MAC
That's kinda like saying:
I'm having a problem with my new car even though I drive it the same way as my old car. What's wrong? Which version of Excel are you using? Can you share a sample of the code? Does the macro crash? What error do you get? Do you know which lines of code cause the problem? The more information you give us the more likely your situation will be resolved. *********** Regards, Ron "Darin" wrote: I have a macro that works like a charm on a PC. The versions can't be the same - modern Mac versions are 98/01/v.X and
2004, while Win versions are 97/00/02 and 03. WinXL00 and newer use VBA6, which introduced some new commands and syntax, while all Mac versions use VBA5. Most code which runs on WinXL97 will run on MacXL. However, since you didn't bother to say what errors, much less post your code, it's impossible to tell what the problem is. You might check out the "I am having trouble running a macro created in Office for Windows." topic in Mac XL Help, and the "Differences between Excel VBA for Windows and Excel VBA for the Macintosh" topic in Mac XL/VBA Help. Note that Mac is usually spelled in Title Case, not ALL CAPS. In article , "Darin" wrote: I have a macro that works like a charm on a PC. I get errors when I run it on a MAC.
