Has anyone installed visual studio yet.

If so, any advice how I can stop the darn thing trying to run setup files
very time I open Office 2000? I don't want the thing interacting with things
I'm confortable with until after figuring how the whole thing works -
microsoft.public.vstudio.general are quiet on the subject.
