Autofill Macro
I import reports daily into excel. The reports vary in size from day to day. I need to autofill blanks under a word in a column until the next word in that same column and do the same with this next word and the next until the end of the report. This is very time consuming and would like to write a macro to do this. But because the number of blank cells vary, a recorded macro wont work , it needs a specific range. can a macro be written for my needs? -- Hayabusa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hayabusa's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=29102 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=488216 |
Autofill Macro
Debra Dalgleish has some code to do it:
http://www.contextures.com/xlDataEntry02.html She also includes some instructions for doing it manually. And I find it much quicker to do it manually than finding the code and running it! (well, unless the rest of the procedure is also mechanized.) Hayabusa wrote: I import reports daily into excel. The reports vary in size from day to day.
