use com technology to build excel addin for free distribution ?
Hi Everyone !
I am trying to check an efficient is to build an excel plugin that would be available for public use. I would like to keep some pieces secure and out of the vba environment... From what I can see, it only makes sense to build it using com/active x as many users will not have the .net redistributable installed and may not want it. Does this sound right ? thanks very much, alec |

Get your hands on VB6 and write a COM Add-In or ActiveX DLL.
