Default Vlookup and forecast

Can I use vlookup and forecast functions at once.
Say vlookup searches for the multiple matches it finds for the actual item
and then from all these data can I use the forecast function.

Vlookup doesn't fine multiple matches.

I don't believe forcast will work with non-contiguous cells.

Vlookup only returns the requested value for the first occurance of the
lookup value in the leftmost column of the lookup range.
