Autolist Members Does Not Always Work

I am sure other people must have this problem also:
sometimes autolist members works, sometimes it doesn't.
I have declared all my variables and objects before I try to acces
their methods and properties, but sometimes the autolist is generate
sometimes it isn't.
Can anyone shed some light on why this is the case

If you have a compiler error in your code, the autolist dropdown
won't show.
