Excel 2003 crashes if VBA is locked for viewing
I created a workbook in Excel 2000 with a bunch of macros. I password
protected the VBA code and it works fine in Excel 2000. I send it to a friend, who uses Excel 2003. He can open the file, but when running a macro, Excel gives an error message and crashes. But when I unprotected the VBA, it works fine in Excel 2003 too! WHY ? My problem is that a have to send this file to a group of poeple and I don't want them to mess around with the code, so I want to send them a VBA protected file. (Yes, I know that this protection is very weak, but it's better then nothing). Anyone having this problem? |

The error message was something about some memory range that cannot be
red. I sent another copy to my friend with VBA password protected and now it's working. Strange, very strange. I'm just afraid it will happen again when I send it to other people. I'm getting tired of this version incompatibilities. F*** Bill Gates and Microsoft!!! Thanks anyway. |
