how do i restore a file saved as an addin (.xla)
 

I saved a file as an addin, not realising that I could view all of my saved
data afterwards. Is there anyway to restore this file as a normal excel file?

Hi David,

In the VBE, select the ThisWorkbook module in the Project Explorer window,
F4 to invoke the Properties window, set the IsAddin propert to false.
