Sort subs
 

I have a workbook with several modules and many subs and functions within
each module. What is the easiest way to get the Visual Basic Editor to sort
the macros within each module to put them in alphbetic order?

There is no simple way to do this. And it begs the question, why
do it? The procedures are listed alphabetically in the right-side
dropdown at the top of the code window. You can select a proc
there and the VBE will go directly to that proc.

And on top of what Chip wrote...

There's a couple of buttons on the bottom of the code window. (These buttons
are to the left of the bottom scroll bar.)

If you let your cursor linger over each of them, you'll see: "Procedure view"
and "Full Module view".

If you go into procedure view, you won't even know about the other procedures.
(Well, you can still pageup/pagedown through them--but they're almost
invisible(?).)

Thank you both very much. I now see that by using only a single module, I
can get much better visibility and access to the pile o'sutff that I have
collected.
