I entered the two numbers in a new spreadsheet just to see if it would work and if I would get the correct answer. Well, lo and behold, it did return the correct result: 421.1 The formatting for the cell was the default "general" formatting. On the other hand, Is there a way to force XL not to round numbers? I have added digits to the result returned, but to no avail. Do you know why it would work on the new spreadsheet and not on the "sample" .xls? See for yourself, give it a try.( para no. 1) Thanks.... |
