DropDownBox?

I dont have experience on Excel, but I need to create a list Box. I have
placed Named Lists which will be the choices in the Data Validation cells on
a different worksheet on the same work book. When I use the Validation to
populate the data on the drop down box on another worksheet, I get a message
€śYou may not use reference to other worksheets or workbook for data
validation€ť What does this means?
All I wont is having the data source of the drop down list on a different
worksheet. .Is this possible please ?

Bob, if your list is on another sheet you have to name the range, have a

If you mean Named Range, rather than Named List....

In DataValidation, when you enter the Source, just enter the equal sign and
the Range Name (no quotes). Don't enter the sheet name.
(In other words, yes, it is possible to do what you want, just don't include
a sheet reference when you supply Source information. It's that reference
Excel doesn't like, not the fact that the Named Range is on a different
sheet.)
