Set as read only based on user name.
How secure do you need the file? Remember, all a user has to do is Disable Macros <before opening your workbook and your macro is dead. If your user is savvy enough to know how to change the user name, they probably know enough to disable macros. You can protect workbooks/worksheets without a password that will help prevent accidental changes. However, if someone is intent on gaining access, there is not a lot you can do to stop them. Excel is not meant to be 'secure'.
