Combination Formula
Cell M35 and K48 contain numbers. I want to put a text box in a chart
saying: "Permanent Occupancy" and the K35 value, "Temporary Occupancy" and the K48 value. The result would be like: Permanent Occupancy 100, Temporary Occupancy 245. What would the formula be? |
Combination Formula
Type this formula in the formula bar:
="Permanent Occupancy:" & K35 & ", Temporary Occupancy:" & K48 use quotes to define text, and the & to concatenate with formulae. You need to construct your string in a cell and then reference the results
with the textbox on the chart. You need to put that formula in a separate cell, for example K50 then select the chart and in the formula bar put in =Sheet1!K50 You can't have complex formulas in textboxes. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Andrew" <NoToSPAM@home wrote in message ...
